Mustard, Mistletoe and Murder
Sophie Hunter and Emily Spitzer are busy with their respective businesses during the bustling holiday season in Lake Valley. Emily caters a book signing one evening at Sophie's bookstore, The Book Peddler, for local celebrity author Gwen Patterson. Sophie and Emily are about to celebrate another successful event when Gwen's body is discovered in the alley behind the shop. Although Gwen had a long list of possible enemies, the friends team up with Detective Bradford Luke and coffee shop owner Henry Bagley to find the murderer before another body is found. With a long list of potential suspects and threatening phone calls, the friends feel the pressure to crack the case before Christmas. With several clues in their possession, the race is on in this small, quaint Wisconsin community to unmask a killer before everyone's Christmas is permanently dimmed.
