A Borrowed child

Rebecca is a successful businesswoman. She has a son and a devoted partner but her past is about to catch up with her. When her son goes missing she is certain that something sinister must have caused him to walk out on his life and his family and so she implores the police to render his disappearance with an air of suspicion. As the weeks turn to months she is forced to face the mistakes of her past and disassemble the layers of deceit that have become her life. Told through the voices of Rebecca and the other main characters, this is an intimate portrayal of a woman s fight to protect her son from the past.
