The Ritual Mages

Magic has been dead for centuries... until a teenage boy stumbles upon the secret to unlock new powers. Terren, a sixteen year old peasant boy happens upon the long-lost secret ritual that imbues those who perform it with the ability to access forgotten powers. These newfound abilities won't go unnoticed as a group of blood thirsty Mage Hunters, known as the Black Carinth, will stop at nothing to extinguish any trace of magic within the kingdom. The fledgling Mage must traverse through hidden ruins, dangerous caverns and underground Mage cults as he strives to learn more about his new abilities. With the help of a few new friends, a dash of magic, and a healthy dose of dumb luck, they seek to right the wrongs of a conflict that has spanned centuries. Some secrets are best left kept hidden and there are those who will do everything in their power to keep them that way.
