Suspicious Mate A Small Town Grumpy Shifter Romance

Running was instinctual. Hiding is necessary. Falling in love? Out of the question.

A forced mating turned ugly leaves Sara waking up in a hospital alone. Determined to take her life back, Sara, with the help of the Shadow Sisters, makes her escape and assumes a new identity - Sienna Carpenter. Moving to Otter Cove Alaska and accepting a job, not only puts distance between her and her ex but is also another step in rebuilding her confidence.

Weary and grumpy from one too many tours as a Navy SEAL, Zak Grayson is headed home to Otter Cove to accept the position of sheriff. The town needs a sheriff that can work with Jax Miller of Mystic River to keep peace between the Kodiak and Polar Bear clans. Just after his arrival, he discovers his sister has hired a luscious mystery woman, Sienna Carpenter. There is something suspicious about her and he is going to get to the bottom of it. But from the moment he inhales her intoxicating scent, he recognizes the fated mate from his dreams has arrived.

When Sienna's past comes crashing back into her life, Zak doesn't give her a choice about letting him help her. Because he was born and bred to protect his mate. To catch her abusive ex and keep her safe, he'll break every rule... and risk losing his heart.
