Joey's Story

Joey was not supposed to be born, but his parents put God in control and he turned out to be a healthy baby. The child was blessed with remarkable talents and skills, and was protected by God throughout the many journeys of his life. But even under the most dire circumstances, Joey resisted God's presence, waiting until he was 60 to discover Jesus. Once joined with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Joey became a modern day Paul, devoting his life to the expansion of God's kingdom. Joey says, "You have to live the story to be able to tell it." Join Joey's journey from the 1940s to present day, experience his strained relationships with his parents and sister, and the repercussions that result. Joey's Story could be anyone's story. The inspiration for this book came when the author was attending church. "I was tapped on the shoulder by God and asked, "Where Is My Book?" The Lord told me how to write it and that He would get me through it." This is the second book by Robert J. Tropea Sr. of Charlotte, North Carolina. He has more adventures of Joey to come. He states, "God did tell me how to present the story and did help me through it. When I finished, it was cathartic."
