This isn’t how Nathan wanted to meet Maya. Maya doesn’t get possessive like he thought she would. The problem is Maya doesn’t feel the bond like he does. Nathan is going to do everything he can to prove they belong together.</div><div> </div><div>I love that Nathan calls Maya “Baby”. When Maya saw Faye walking out of Nathan’s room I wanted to scream for her. I like how Nathan knew his brothers would tell him “I told you so” when he started feeling bad about not waiting for his mate. Maya had a painful childhood so I’m not surprised she didn’t know the signs of what the mate bond is or how it’s supposed to feel. When Maya said “Can I help you?” to Nathan my jaw dropped. That first conversation Nathan and Maya had was definitely awkward. I was beyond shocked when Maya kicked Nathan. That ending was so good. I definitely could read 800 more pages of them. </div>
