Leo: A Beauty and the Beast-inspired Navy SEAL Romance (Anchor Me Military Romance Series)

A former Navy SEAL and a grad student. Both are avoiding the holidays. What happens when they end up stuck together in a cabin during a snowstorm? Rosanna: I’ll do anything to avoid spending another Christmas with my stepfamily. When I land a job in Vermont over winter break, I have my out. All I have to do is make sure that a Navy SEAL veteran who has been living in the mountains alone is taken care of. But when I arrive at the remote stone cottage in the snowy woods, I’m stopped by a man with a scarred face and deep scowl. Leo tells me to turn around and return to Boston. Hmm, not the greeting I expected. I don’t have a backup plan or a place to go. What am I going to do? Fortunately, the groceries I brought to prepare dinner buy me some time. Leo agrees to let me cook for him (how generous) and to stay for one night. Only we’re hit with more snow than expected and are trapped in the cottage together. I’m stuck with a man who doesn’t want me there. Worse, he declares his painting studio is “off limits.” Why? Should I be worried about whatever secrets are hidden behind that closed door? Am I better off braving a snowstorm than a surly former SEAL who’s been trained to kill? If you like Beauty and the Beast, grumpy / sunshine, wounded heroes, dark secrets, and lost souls finding each other in romance, you'll love escaping into Leo and Rosanna’s story!
