Ratings and reviews
As an adult male who just read this, I actually enjoyed this book. Willowdeen is relatable as she cares about all animals especially the hated beasts that roam her world. I feel bad for the Screechers, they don’t really do anything but protect their young and when they feel threatened they stink up the place. They are hunted almost to extinction. Willodeen rescues a hummingbear and a screeched. I loved the characters and beasts in this book. My first book by this author and not my last.
